In 2018, the company officially sponsored the high-speed train named “Yuangen Lubricants,” and was featured in the documentary “Quality,” making every effort to build a renowned national lubricant brand with strong brand influence.

Shandong Yuangen Petrochemical Co.,Ltd. (abbreviated as "Yuangen Petrochemical") is a specialized group company integrating research and development, production, and sales of lubricants, greases, antifreeze fluids, maintenance products, additives, packaging containers, and new materials.
The company currently has two major production bases worldwide: Shandong Yuangen Petrochemical Co.,Ltd. in China and Lihuan Technology in Singapore. It provides professional, system-based lubrication products to customers around the globe. The company has successively been awarded honors such as “National High-Tech Enterprise,” “Key National High-Tech Enterprise under the National Torch Program,” “Top 500 Chinese Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises,” and “China Construction Machinery Industry Lubricant Production Base.”

R&D facilities
The Yuangen Technology Research and Development Center was established in 2002, covering a total area of over 2,000 square meters. It is now equipped with more than 100 sets of advanced, high-precision imported and domestically produced devices, used for scientific research and development, design, product prototyping, and analytical testing. The center has received cumulative investments exceeding 100 million yuan and successfully obtained CNAS national-level laboratory accreditation on June 28, 2016.
Research capability
The Yuangen Technology Research and Development Center focuses on the testing and research of lubricants, greases, and other related lubrication materials as well as finished products. Grounded in the company’s needs and closely tracking international cutting-edge developments, it strives to break through critical core technologies, address key scientific and technological bottlenecks in the lubrication field, and actively play a leading, supporting, and exemplary role in the fields of lubricants and greases. Through standardized, scientific, and internationally aligned services, it aims to drive the development of China’s lubricant industry.
The Yuangen Technology Research and Development Center boasts more than 60 highly qualified researchers, including one expert who receives a special allowance from the State Council, one Taishan Industry Leading Talent, five research experts with over 20 years of experience, and 13 personnel holding master’s degrees or higher. The center actively cultivates talents with both innovative and practical capabilities, and is committed to becoming a renowned domestic institution for lubricant research, an intellectual hub for technological innovation, and an important base for talent development.
The company’s research achievements have successively won awards including the “China Patent Excellence Award,” the “Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Shandong Province,” the “Third Prize for Patents of Shandong Province,” and the “First Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation in Equipment Manufacturing of Shandong Province.” The company actively participates in the formulation of national and industry standards. Its product “Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly Lubricant Containing Nanomaterial Additives” was listed in the “National Catalogue of Recommended Energy-Saving Technologies and Equipment (2017).” The company has undertaken more than 30 major scientific and technological R&D projects at the provincial, ministerial, and local levels.
